Summary
Money scales by Thos. Harrison, London. Made up mahogany box with trade label inside lid. Second label added for Kings Proclamation of 1774. Elegant decorated box end beam of the highest quality, with ornate sight hole shears. Brass pans. Original weights 36s, 18s, 7,2,2, penny weights marked with roundals, sheet brass grain weights marked with roundals. Weights added later; Soveriegn, half sovereign, Royal Mint.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
