Summary
Black and white portrait photograph on a postcard of two actors in a scene from a play. The woman, seated is wearing a long, dark dress, mob capand has he hand raised towards the man, who is dressed in a hussar's uniform. Printed in the bottom of the photograph 'Miss Ellaline Terriss & Mr. Seymour Hicks'. On reverse, printed 'J. Beagles & Co., London E.C.'. Her full name was Mary Ellaline Terris, Lady Hicks, and he was Sir Edward Seymour Hicks. They were married and acted together in many plays.
