Summary
Black and white portrait photograph on a postcard of an actor dressed in a semi-military or restoration costume, complete with hunting horn, baton, sash and hat with feathers. Printed in white in the bottom right of the photograph 'Miss Lily Brayton' and in the bottom left corner 'A. 183 Copyright'. She is dressed for the part of Katherine in the Oxford University Dramatic Society's production of "The Taming of the Shrew" in 1907, probably photographed by Rita Martin. She was married to Oscar Asche (see 1337196).
