Portrait miniature, watercolour on paper, An Unknown Prince, Persian School. Half-length portrait of a man, in profile to the right, in a peach-coloured robe studded with pearls, emeralds and rubies, white jewelled head-dress with two plumes. Brown eyes, black beard and moustache. Plain dark grey background. Within ornately carved cartouche shaped frame, glazed both sides. Shell motif to the top. metal hanging loop on the back
