Oil painting on panel, An Unknown Woman, by an Unknown artist, 16th century. A head-and-shoulders portrait of a woman, looking to right, with high collar and white ruff. She wears a necklace of a red stone in a gold setting with 3 pearl drops, and a pear shaped pearl drop earring.
Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
