Summary
Brown rectangular cardboard box with items found by Charles Paget Wade in Ann's Room. Items are mainly 17th and 18th centuries. Box contains six smaller cardboard boxes, five green and one brown. Boxes contain pieces of hessian, many clay pipe stems and two pipe bowls, small pieces of leather, pottery sherds, animal bones, an iron buckle, stone, cloth buttons, cork pieces, turned wooden items and a scrap of handwritten script on paper. There is also a postcard in Charles Wade's handwriting. Text reads, 'All in this Box was found behind the plaster over the door of this Room Ann's Room. C.P.W. 1920'.
