Summary
Violin Bow, c.1880. The stick is Brazilwood, octagonal and finished with red tinted shellac. The adjuster is of an unusual form, resembling the head of a miniature ebony violin peg. Mother-of-pearl inlay to side and top of frog. Wooden, flattened tightening screw. Associated with Violin by Broad 1335404.1.
