Violin by Broad of Bristol, 1880. Made by J. W. Broad and varnished by him at Cotham, Bristol in 1880. Label inside printed 'Varnished by J. W. Broad' and handwritten 'and made by Mr. ? 'Belly made from old door of Queen Anne clock'. Chin guard held by metal clips. Metal adjuster on the base of the metal string.
