Summary
Tambourine, Dale, London, c.1795 Marked 'Dale, Cornhill, Oxford Street, London'. Painted with flowers. Five pairs of jingles of which two full pairs and one half pair missing, and thumb hole with ivory collar. Six tensioning screw with wing nuts extend full depth of instrument. Four of six bells inside. Inside has lighter green background. In notebook no.4, page 7 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Music Room 85. Tambourine, painted flowers by Dale, Cornhill.'
