Violoncello, (cello) by John Wallis of Didbrook.19th century. Dark colouring. Hole in left upper bouts LH side. Scroll top on end of neck, large wooden tuning pegs. 'English from the church band at Didbrook Parish Church, made by John Wallis, carpenter from Temple Guiting' (M. Jessup).
