Oboe by Milhouse, London, c.1800. Marked 'Milhouse, London'. Stained boxwood with ivory mounts, two brass keys. Straight topped. Three sections. The bell is a later addition. In notebook no.4, page 10 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Music Room 99. Flute Hautboy by Milhouse (Reed)18th Cent.'
