Concert flute by Willis and Co., London, c1830. Marked 'Willis and Co, 55 St James's St London, No 784' and Royal Arms. Ebony with ivory mounts, four silver keys. Head joint lined in silver. Headjoint plunger loose, cork wedged. In notebook no.4, page 10 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Music Room 111. Ebony & Ivory Flute by Willis & Co.'
