Summary
Metal (probably brass) banner riveted to a metal (probably iron) flag support. Painted with red and black rectangular chequers, two black hounds at the top and one below. Along the length of the banner is painted in black the motto 'nequid pereat' (Let nothing perish). Paint is flaking in places.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
