Summary

Persian incense ball of pierced brass, engraved with a floral design. Two hemispheres hinged, with a hook catch. Hinge broken. Inner vessel on three ring gimbals to keep burner upright.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
