Summary
Thirty hour English striking longcase clock, c1820. Two train four pillar movement with anchor escapement and countwheel hour striking. 12" square white painted dial signed SPURRIER, TEWKESBURY with shell motif painted spandrels, semi-circular calendar aperture and painted flowers to the dial centre. Arabic numerals and Arabic quarters. Black serpentine hands. Oak case with mahogany cross banding. Scroll-pediment hood with plain brass-capped columns to sides. Plain rectangular trunk door and plain base with feet. Previously associated with SNO.H.111.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
