Summary
Gold and Royal Blue enamel pocket watch. Finely engraved movement 'Chas. Haley, London 1813'. Glass dial cover. Surrounding rim set with blue and white enamel with gold. The reverse, blue enamel set with gold initials 'RM interlaced'. Surrounding rim identical to that of the front. 'Royal blue and white enamelled gold watch with finely engraved movement by Chas. Haley, 7 Wigmore Street, London, No.1813. Hinged bow on thin stem. The back is enamelled blue over a watered design with gold monogram 'RM', c 1770-80. Bought from Albert Cubbit, Wensum Street, Norwich, January 1940. ' (M.Jessup)
