Summary

Black lacquered travelling cabinet, The Snowshill Cabinet, with top and front which has two doors which open to reveal eight painted drawers with Chinese landscape scenes on either side and central swivel small door with three-sided arched top with drawer below. One scene is missing from the left hand door.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor by Charles Paget Wade (1883 - 1956) in 1951
