Summary
A small black and gold lacquer portable shrine cabinet, Chinese, circa 1750. Decorated overall with landscapes of trees, buildings, lakes and mountains, with an arrangement of thirteen variously-sized and stepped drawers around a central upper pair of shutters flanked by balconies and gilt columns, enclosed by a pair of doors with brass escutcheon and the bamboo plant depicted on the inside surface of the doors.
