Summary
A pony hide and leather-bound trunk, English, circa 1750. With a domed lid centred with initials AT in studs, the leather strips studded, with iron lock-plate and blue paper lined interior. CPW Item 217. Previously contained business and private correspondence and some childrens' books and 'The Androvian' 1956-7.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
