Summary
A pony hide and brass studded trunk, English, circa 1800. The slightly domed lid bearing the studded initials HS, with side carrying handles and iron lock plate. The interior is lined with pages from a book (on economic/monetary subject) overprinted with navy blue stars. With paper label WILLIAM WHITE | Original Military and Naval Trunk | MANUFACTURER | No.237, HIGH HOLBORN | NEAR LITTLE QUEEN STREET.
