Summary
An elm and oak hanging cupboard, English, circa 1680. Enclosed by a central panelled door with a row of spindles to the upper section, flanked each side by a smaller row of spindles and narrower panel below, a shelf within. In notebook no.5, page 4 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Lace Room no.17. Dole Cupboard of elm, the upper panels have closely set turned spindles. 17" deep'. Wade has also included a detailed drawing of the cupboard and annotated it with dimensions.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
