Summary
Wooden box covered in ivory, richly engraved in black with scenes of buildings and trees alongside a river with boats and bands of foliage on the top and sides. Handles missing. Lined with crimson satin. Central brass lock, 2 brass hinges for lid. Leather lid restrainers. Remains of red textile base. Indian Vizagapatem box. Previously noted as containing Wade family papers but papers not present September 2008.
