Summary
A large oak chest, English, circa 1730. Hinged top with central lock and six fielded panels to the front, above two drawers with brass handles and locks. Three panels, two vertical, 1 horizontal, each side. Under support to sides of lid. On stile feet. In notebook no.1, page 67 (1340945.1) Charles Wade refers to: 'Meridian 16. Oak Mule Chest Beviled (sic) panels Two drawers. c.1700.' Includes sketch with dimensions.
