Summary

A leather and iron lattice work casket, Spanish, circa 1650. With iron lock, the domed lid with iron carrying handle, the interior lined with hessian and bearing an ivorine label FENTON & SONS 11 NEW OXFORD ST LONDON.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
