Summary
A walnut, oak, fruitwood and snakewood chest of drawers, English, circa 1670. With four long twin-panel drawers, lower three with geometric mouldings, two (second and bottom) with raised panels veneered in snakewood, the top drawer with fruitwood (probably plum) veneers, on flattened bun feet, splits into two sections, all drawers with iron ring-pull handles, two (second and bottom) drawers with brass escutcheons, the top is walnut, the sides in oak.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
