Summary
One of a set of four cherrywood chairs, English, circa 1800. Comprising one armchair and three single chairs, each with an arched toprail and pierced splat formed of three X-shaped bars, the solid seat on square legs joined by stretchers, the armchair with outswept arms on front baluster supports.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
