Summary
The armchair from a set of four cherrywood chairs, English, circa 1800. Arched toprail and pierced splat formed of three X-shaped bars with a vertical bar each side, the solid seat on square legs joined by stretchers, outswept, curved arms on front baluster supports.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
