Summary
A large oak press cupboard, English or Welsh, circa 1730. The upper section enclosed by a pair of panelled doors flanking a similar central panel, all pointed ogee arched and fielded, the lower section with six smaller panels and three small drawers beneath them, on stile feet.
Provenance
Bought from P.C.L. German, Edgware Road, 6 January 1926 for £20. Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
