Summary

Central or Southern Indian battle mace, Gurz, 18th century, silvered and partly gilt. Ferrous metal. Crown shaped one end. Hand guard and handle at other end like a sword. Six sided shaft.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
