A suit of Samurai armour consisting of a Helmet (Kabuto), a mask (Mempo) with attached throatguard (Nodowa) and mostashe, two shoulder guards (Stode), a pair of sleeves (Kote) a curiass (Do), thigh armour (Haidate) and shin guards (Suneate).

Charles Paget Wade notebook entry 513 - unconfirmed (1340945.3 / SNO.MISC.959.3): 'SAMURAI ARMOUR. Crest and detail Helmet of Black lacquer with small wings & family crest. Back & Breast plate covered with dark brown leather, relieved with vermilion lacquer. Chain sleeves the left one has small lacquer Box (vermilion) with cover. Apron piece of Blue & gold damask with lacquer plaques. open mask.'
