Summary
Samurai armour. A suit of Tosei-Gusoko armour consisting of a Helmet (Kabuto) in the Momo-Mari style with a neckguard (Shikoro) of three lames. A mask (Mempo) missing its nose, attached throatguard (Nodowa) of three lames. Two shoulder guards (Stode), a pair of sleeves (Kote) a curiass (Do) of horizonatl plates, thigh armour (Haidate) and shin guards (Suneate).

Charles Paget Wade notebook entry number 392 (1340945.3 / SNO.MISC.959.3): 'Suit of Armour. of black lacquer. Morion shaped helmet similar to 389, with wide neck guard of lacquer braided blue. medium wings, with the dog of FO modelled in relief. Body piece of lacquer with a crinkled surface. The upper part of ‘comb’ lacquer. It is thonged with leather. Small shoulder plates of comb lacquer, as Tassets. Sleeves, apron & leg pieces chain & plate. Mask. Short sword with KUDZUKA. fr.Goldington. Beds.'
