Watercolour and pencil on paper (oval), Antony Gibbs (1756-1815) (after John Downman, ARA) by George Browne (1804-1848), signed with initials, G. B. Additional inscription reads, J. D. 1784. A half-length portrait, in a buff coat. Probably one of two marriage portraits together with NT13219.4 (Dorothea Barnett Hucks).

Purchased by the National Trust from the estate of the late George Richard Lawley Gibbs, 2nd Lord Wraxall (1928 – 2001) with the assistance of the NHMF, Art Fund and donations from members and supporters in 2002
