Summary
One of two parts of a bomb which fell near the Brick Bridge in Tatton Park on 2nd July 1941. One with indistinct label which indicated that the bomb went to a depth of 15ft in clay. One stamped 556 the other 70D and 434. Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
