Summary
One of a set of architectural drawings for Tatton, this part of a set of Samuel Wyatt's 'Grand Design' and modifications, 1785-1794 consisting of twenty-eight drawings, with one engraving. This part of a set of twelve (with one related engraved view) working drawings for the Grand Design for rebuilding the house, with revisions showing scheme without Greenhouse, for William Egerton 1785-1786. The set consists of plans, elevations and section. This drawing depicts an elevation of the West Front at Tatton and section through Mr Egerton's Room and Vestibule. Executed in pen and brown wash with pencil annotations, on cartridge paper; by Samuel Wyatt.
