Summary
One of a set of architectural drawings for Tatton, this part of a set of Samuel Wyatt's 'Grand Design' and modifications, 1785-1794 consisting of twenty-eight drawings, with one engraving. This part of a set of twelve (with one related engraved view) working drawings for the Grand Design for rebuilding the house, with revisions showing scheme without Greenhouse, for William Egerton 1785-1786. The set consists of plans, elevations and section. This drawing depicts a ground plan, with flier showing revised ground plan of the building between the body of the House and Kitchen offices at Tatton. Executed in pen, wash and brown wash, with additions in pencil, on four sheets of cartridge paper joined, with one attached flier; by Samuel Wyatt.
