Summary
One of a set of architectural drawings for Tatton, this part of a set of Samuel Wyatt's 'Grand Design' and modifications, 1785-1794 consisting of twenty-eight drawings, with one engraving. This part of a set of ten presentation drawings for the 'Grand Design' for a house with a greenhouse to the east, with an alternative design showing only the western half executed (without greenhouse) and part of the old house retained to the east, for William Egerton, circa 1785. This drawing depicts an alternative ground plan showing only half of the 'Grand Design' executed (without Greenhouse), and part of the old house retained to the East, with rough sketch plan and elevation of a partition wall. Executed in pen and wash, with additions in pencil, on two sheets joined; by Samuel Wyatt.
