Summary
One of a set of architectural drawings for Tatton, this part of a set of sixteen designs for alterations and additions to the old house. This is a design for extending and regularising the house with the addition of a large library and other rooms to the East and the erection of extension household offices, stables, greenhouse and to the West, with a flier showing the addition of a loggia to the South front. Another (detached) flier showing an alternative design for extending the South front with a four bay range containing a Great Dining Room and a double-height chapel, for Samuel Egerton, 1774. Executed in pen and brown wash on five sheets joined with fliers (one detached) within a single ruled border; by Samuel Wyatt.
