Summary
A bicorn hat, part of a ceremonial set with a dress coat and trousers, made between 1890 and 1909. Made from black silk velvet 'beaver'. Trimmed with a scarlet and white feather plume, black silk ribbon, silver metal thread and plate embroidered panel, one button, gold red metal bullion worked tassels and black silk braid with oak leaves.
