Summary
A belt for a sword, part of a set of court costume including bicorn hat, dress coat, breeches and shoes, made between 1890 and 1900. Sword has an engraved steel blade, the hilt made from cut steel. The scabbard is black leather with steel tip and top and the belt is black velvet with black leather, cream silk braid and metal serpent buckle.
