Summary
A red livery coat for a male, full dress circa 1900. The coat has braid with a design of a rampant lion alternating with coronet, within striped borders and twenty-six silver buttons embossed with the Egerton coat-of-arms. The structure consists of a raised collar, edge to edge opening trimmed, false hip pockets, sleeves trimmed top and bottom, skirt vent open from waist to hem. Epaulette badge and cord on right shoulder.
