One of a pair of George III silver soup tureens, made by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, 1781. Oval tureens, two handled, with covers and having gadrooned borders, on oval gadrooned bases. Classical form with reeded loop handles, applied plaques on the sides, engraved with the Egerton crest.
