Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Wilbraham Egerton of Tatton (1781-1856), by William Wood (Ipswich 1769 – London 1809). c.1805. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a man, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a dark brown double-breasted coat with black velvet collar, white stock. Brown eyes, fair curly hair and whiskers, pink complexion, aged 20 to 25 years. Blue-grey background.
