Summary
A mahogany secretaire cabinet, circa 1795-1800. Inlaid tulipwood bandings, boxwood and ebony stringing, upper section with square moulded and dentil cornice, the freize inlaid with ebony vertical lines. Pair of panelled doors with figured oval panels, enclosing three adjustable shelves, lower section with secretaire drawer, interior red baize, with pigeonholes and pen drawers, square tapered supports.
