Summary
A grained oak billiard table supported on twelve legs of baluster form, c.1670, with moulded straight stretchers. The mahogany top with wood bed of later date, and stamped "Clarke".
Provenance
Knole and the majority of its furniture were accepted by HM Treasury in part payment of death duties and transferred to the National Trust in 1946.
