Summary
One of a collection of fishing rods and two additional small canes which indicate a catch. A burgundy whipped, two piece, fibreglass fishing rod with a wooden handle ending in a rubber ferrule. A wooden reel complete with fishing line is attached to the handle. The lettering on the rod has slightly worn, but Plax?gla MADE IN SCOTLAND 7 FT 15 458 is still visible towards the bottom of the rod. This is possibly made by MILBRO, short for Millard Brothers, a large Scottish fishing tackle company.
