Summary
Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, King Charles II (1630-1685) (after Samuel Cooper) by Richard Samuel (fl.1768 - London 1787). c.1780-1787. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a man, turned slightly to the left, haed facing and gazing to the right, wearing Garter robes. Brown eyes, long black wig, small moustache; Purple background. A copy of Samuel Cooper's 17th century portrait.
