Summary
A figured mahogany Pembroke games table, English, circa 1780, the rectangular twin-flap top with centre section that slides out and turns over to become a games table inlaid with a chess board and concealing below a backgammon board lifting out as a tray, the frieze with one true drawer, the others dummy, all with brass axe-head handles, on square tapering legs with castors.
