Summary
A saucer, one of a set of four, part of an assembled 19-piece partial Spode dinner and tea service, bone china, transfer-printed in red (“pink”) with the ‘Camilla’ pattern, with a black backstamp on the base indicating production post 1970, also with additional markings on the base that may possibly be impressed date codes. W.T. Copeland and Spode Ltd., Stoke on Trent, England, circa 1970 – 1980. The ‘Camilla’ pattern was first produced in 1833 in underglaze blue, with the red or “pink” pattern being introduced in the twentieth century.
