Summary
Loose sander for sprinkling sand - one of a pair, part of a Chinese 'famille rose' rectangular inkstand, porcelain. Painted in 'famille-rose' enamels with a different pattern on each side with figures in interiors, birds on branches, puce monochromes and monochrome landscapes, China, Jingdezhen, decorated in Guangzhou (Canton), circa 1745.
