Summary
Cover with cockerel finial to a broth bowl (ecuelle) and associated stand, one of two, porcelain, of shallow form with shell shaped handles, and the deep stand with angular sides, enamelled in green, iron-red, yellow, manganese and black ('wucai' or five colours, also known as "famille-verte") with flowering plants and pheonix and the seeded green borders with medallions of birds or fish, the stands with ladies on a terrace within honeycomb border, China, Jingdezhen, circa 1700-20.
